All our clients are entitled to use either the Preluna Beach Club or when not available the Sliema Aquatic Club which is located across the road. They consist of a large salt water pool and ample sunbathing area. Following are the special rates for all Astra clients:

Monday to Saturday:
    €8.26 including VAT
Sunday:
    €11.80 including VAT

The above prices include a sunbed and mattress and use of all other facilities such as changing rooms, umbrellas etc. Use of bar and restaurant facilities will be against payment.

The Maltese Islands are renowned for the numerous caves and wrecks available for divers, both recreational and technical. Wrecks include submarines, aeroplanes, destroyers, oil tankers and other vessels from World War I and II. Here you will also find spectacular underwater topography and interesting marine life. The sea temp varies from approx. 15 C in the winter season (January to March) to 28 C during the summer (June to October). The visibility is amazing sometimes surpassing 50m.

The dive school is located across the road from the hotel and offers all types of PADI certified courses and accompanied dives for beginners and/or certified divers up to professional PADI Instructor levels.
